Objectives and Topics

The objectives of the meeting are to contribute to advancing the understanding of spherical tori (ST) and compact toroid (CT) configurations and enhancing their potential for fusion energy applications. The meeting will provide a broad range of topics for discussion and the opportunity to enhance links between experiment, theory/computation, and fusion energy applications.

The scope of the meeting covers the full range of research activities on ST facilities. Also, appropriate common physics and technologies in Tokamaks, Helical Systems and Compact Tori (CT, the Spheromaks and FRCs) will be of interest. The workshop further provides opportunities to sustain and develop research collaborations to enhance the productivity of ST research.
