Visa Information

The conference organizers will send invitation letters to those participants who need a visa. Please notify Joanne Savino at jsavino@pppl.gov if you need an invitation letter. Include in your visa letter request your full name, title and address. Please consult the US embassy for deadlines and begin the visa application process as early as possible.

There will be a tour of NSTX Upgrade / PPPL for interested workshop participants on the afternoon of Thursday, November 5, 2015. In order to enter PPPL to participate in the tour, please note the requirements below.

PPPL Entrance Requirements For TOUR

All visitors to PPPL for the tour will need a photo ID or passport to gain entry to PPPL.

All tour participants born in Russia or Russian Citizens must complete the Foreign National Registration Form PRIOR to visiting PPPL. This form should be completed as soon as possible.

Please designate Jonathan Menard, chair of local organizing committee as your Host.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please e-mail a recent photo of yourself (such as a passport photo or "selfie", i.e. NOT an ID) to Joanne Savino (jsavino@pppl.gov) prior to 1 September 2015. PPPL will then provide a visitor badge the first meeting day to expedite your entry into PPPL on the day of the tour.

Upon arrival at PPPL, adult visitors must show a government-issued photo I.D. -- for example, a passport or a driver's license. Non-U.S. citizens must show a government-issued photo I.D., plus provide the following information: citizenship, date of birth, and place of birth.

For the welfare of both our staff and visitors, PPPL security staff retain the right to inspect vehicles and persons.
